What Do Rainbows Do?
Rainbows have fun! They take part in indoor and outdoor activities as part of their programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw. Their meetings are full of games and activities which provide challenging opportunities for Rainbows to think for themselves and take an active part in unit decision-making.
Everything a Rainbow does helps her to develop – it’s an opportunity to look, learn, laugh and love.
Who Can Be A Rainbow?
Any girl aged five or over can be a Rainbow. The oldest Rainbows are usually about seven years old.
Rainbows make this simple Promise that they share with members around the world:

The 150th Rainbows meet every Wednesday during term time from 5pm-6pm at George Wastson College, and is open to girls from the school. Contact Catrina Nelson on 01314401776 for further details.   Or click on the waving Rainbow to e-mail.
GUIDES

Guides can also take part in a number of team activities to earn Go For It credit cards.
Some examples of Go For It activities are:

... and a Chocolate Go For It!

A girl who joins Guides makes a promise:
I promise that I will do my best:
To love my God,
To serve the Queen and my country,
To help other people
and To keep the Guide Law.
Below is the Guide Law:

A Guide is honest, reliable and can be trusted.
A Guide is helpful and uses her time and abilities wisely.
A Guide faces challenge and learns from her experiences.
A Guide is a good friend and a sister to all Guides.
A Guide is polite and considerate.
A Guide respects all living things and takes care of the world around her.

The Guide motto is "Be prepared."
